Thank You Is Not Nearly Enough

"I thank my God in all my remembrance of you,
always offering prayer with joy in my every prayer
for you all..."
Philippians 1:3-4

That verse in posted in honor of the friends that we are so undserving of but God has so richly blessed us with.  We recently returned from being gone for 10 days to our CYIA (Christian Youth In Action) training camp.  We had an absolutely fantastic time and had the privilege of seeing God work in the lives of many youth while also being challenged ourselves.

Our return home (though it is hard to leave camp) is always sweet.  Our dear and wonderful friends made it even sweeter.  I am going to try and list all that they did for us...though I am sure I will miss something.  I will also post some picture of their handy work but I did not capture all of it in pictures.  So they...

painted the walls and all the wood work in one room

painted the walls in another room

moved all the furniture into the appropriate rooms as one friend new how I wanted to move things around (this was a big feat of moving large furniture!)

found and installed a closet untit in our walk-in-closet, as in shleving and rods for hanging (up till now everything was still in an upstairs room)

custom built deep shelving on the other side of our closet

cleaned the entire house

washed all the bedding and remade beds

touched up the paint in my kitchen

mowed our lawn

scrubbed my recliner clean (THIS WAS A MAJOR TASK!)

and I am sure there is more that is just slipping my mind right now

There were many wonderful friends who chipped in in many different ways on these projects.  We want all of you to know that your kindness, generosity, sacrifice and friendship are deeply appreciated beyond what words can express.  What you did represents hours and hours of labor that we do not have to do and can put into ministry and hopefully into your lives.  We are greatly humbled and feel so undeserving.  We pray for God's rich blessing to be poured out on your lives.  Thank you for loving us
