Home for a night

I was able to come home for a night last night for the first time since I went into the hospital. It was so nice to be home and play with the boys and spend time with Todd. I took Caleb to school this morning which was fun too. The Lord also treated me to a beautiful snowfall this morning. I will head back to the hospital shortly but wanted to get an update out quick.

The girls had a good day yesterday. They both gained quite a bit KK weighed 5lbs 2 oz and KR 4lbs 7 oz. KR ended up back under the lights for jaundice but that is because she is still not moving food through and pooping well, which is normal. They also both had the temp in their houses lowered a little, which is the goal so that was good too. They both had their feedings increased so KK is up to a full half ounce and KR almost a half ounce. I hold them quite a bit during the day now so that is really great too. I also am able to feed them bottles, change diapers, take their temps and various other things.

KK haning out in her little condo

KK's little feet, she has very cute toes!

Baby toes are cute, and their fingers, and most every other part of little babies' bodies. :)
Glad you had a good day home. Hope you all get to come home sometime very soon.

Kim, these girls are beautiful. We are thankful that they are continuing to improve and gain weight! I'm sure being home with your boys was a nice change too! Just think- soon it'll be the boys AND the girls- all of you under one roof!!

Okay, random: I had a dream last night that we were all going to some banquet at the MSU dome, and somehow, I ended up holding KK and trying to feed her macaroni and cheese. The whole dream, I was so worried that you'd find out! Haha!

Congratulations Kim & Todd! I have been praying for your little girls and you. Happy Birthday to you too! If I remember right, it is today. I will continue to pray for your family. I'm sure it is very difficult to be in two different places. What a blessed family you have.
Love - Sara

Happy Birthday Kim! Today's Pete (Elizabeth's husband) birthday too.
Happy birthday, Kim! We will try and call tomorrow. In the busyness of coming home we didn't get a chance. I think KK is really starting to look like C. Have a good night!
